11/25/2008 - Equipment turn-in for the Cheerleaders will be held Dec. 1st @ Chancellors Run Park from 6pm-8pm. This is for Cheerleaders only.

We would like to congratulate all of our Raiderettes on an awesome job Sunday at the Calvert County Cheer & Dance Championship. The Pee Wee Raiderettes defended their Championship title on Sunday and won again for the 3rd straight year in a row. The Pax River Raiders were also awarded the Sprit trophy. This trophy is awarded to the organization that shows the most spirit as a club. The Raiders were also awarded the Sprit trophy from the Calvert County Relay For Life. The Raiders raised the most money on Sunday to support the Relay For Life. Great job Raider family!!!

We would also like to congratulate our 90lb. Black team, as they won their first round game in the Maryland State Championship Tournament on Saturday. This is the First team in St. Mary's County to have ever won the first round in this tournament. Great job team!!! We wish you luck in the next round. The Pax River Raiders sends 2 to NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition at FedEx Field November 30th. The Raiders Family would like to congratulate Sarah Carty and Kyle Goddard; they will be competing at the Redskins vs. Giants game during halftime for a chance to move on to the National PPK Championships! To qualify for this competition, both of them not only had to win both local and sectional competition, but their score had to be among the top five results from all of the sectional competitions which included parts of Virginia & Maryland, as well as Washington D.C.  We wish both of you all the luck in the world!!!!!

We would like to congratulate all of the Pax River Raiders Football & Cheerleading teams on a great 2008 season. We had 8 teams make the playoffs and 5 represent the Pax River Raiders in the 2008 Super Bowl title games. We would like to congratulate the Pee Wee Silver, 70lb. White, and the 90lb. Black on bringing home the Super Bowl title in each of their weight class. We would also like to congratulate the Pee Wee White and the 80lb. White on making it to the Super Bowl game in their weight class. Even though each fell just short of the title, both teams fought very hard. We also wish our 70lb. White and 90lb. Black luck in the Maryland State Championship games.
